Your child is crazy about horses. There's no way you can drive
by one without hearing "STOP"! Then there's all the
"pleases" and begging for anything that has to do with a horse,
like -
Riding
boots
Riding
helmet
Horse
books
Horse
movies
and
the list goes on and on...
Wouldn't they be in "7th Heaven" if your child could actually
be with a horse, ride it, take care of it, learn all about it?
You can make that happen.
You also get 3 months to spread payments out - 1/3 in January,
1/3 in February and 1/3 in March.
Of course, your child will learn things like equine anatomy, parts
of tack, how to groom, feed and treat injuries. It's also important
to learn how to keep the barn area clean and safe. High standards are
the basis for excellence in education and learning.
In just our trail ride program for the public, so many of our Guests
have told us that this should be the standard by which all trail ride
businesses should operate. We aim high for your sake.
One activity you won't find anywhere else in a summer horse camp is
EAL or Equine Assisted Learning. We've gotten certified to incorporate
EAL in our program. You're aware of how perceptive horses are. You also
know they communicate among themselves primarily through body language.
Well, by reading our body language, their perceptive abilities are
utilized to benefit learning. This part of the program is conducted
primarily "on the ground". It is also beneficial in developing
team building concepts in your child.
They'll also learn how to "catch" their horse in the field.
Remember that body language thing? Well, they'll also learn what not
to do when they're trying to catch their horse. Knowing this technique
will literally help save hours from "chasing" a horse around
the pasture.
Watching one particular part of the horse's body will give your child
tremendous insight into what his or her horse is thinking. They'll learn
what part to observe.
There will be 3 different skill levels of riding utilized, beginner,
intermediate and advanced. Your child will be given the opportunity
to demonstrate their riding skills and be placed in the appropriate
division.
You know it would absolutely be the highlight of their Christmas if
you could give your special child the assurance of going to summer "horse
camp".
So, we're here to "make your day".
To help, we've extended the December 24th "Christmas Special"
to January 8, 2010. It just happens to be my birthday. So why not give
you the present!
Day Horse Camp offers you 3 different options.
Five Day Horse Camp
Two Day Horse Camp
A "Taste of Horsemanship"
You'd love for them to have as much time as possible and to learn the
greatest amount of horsemanship.
So the "Five Day Horse Camp" day camp is perfect. They are
excited to be doing what they love during the day and still get to spend
time with you and the family in the evening.
If you don't have five days, the Two Day program is a great alternative.
Obviously, we can't cover as much but the kids are still thrilled to
be around horses and to learn about them. It is still a great program.
Finally, we have the "Taste of Horsemanship" experience.
It is two Half Day sessions where your child can have the experience
of his young life enjoying what he loves most
horses.
